Timbuk2

Better Bags, Better Communities

Timbuk2 Messenger Bags, Backpacks, & Travel Accessories

After being unable to find suitable bag for the demands of his daily deliveries, San Francisco  bicycle messenger Rob Honeycutt decided to make one for himself and created the first Timbuk2 messenger bag in 1989. Since then, Timbuk2 has been making bags built to last a lifetime, literally. They are committed to improving life in cities across the country by designing long-lasting products that enable freedom for the digital nomad.

Timbuk2 bags are a favorite here at OutlandUSA.com with our employees and customers. Their bags are tough enough to take wind, rain, sleet, and snow. Many Timbuk2 backpacks have a waterproof lining as well as a waterproof outer, to keep your most important items safe and dry. They are often double stitched and brilliantly designed with lots of interior and exterior pockets, supportive back panels and comfortable straps. Optimizing their materials, their community, and creating programs that give new life to used bags, they continually show their customers that they care about the process, the individual, and the final outcome. Some of our most popular and well loved Timbuk2 bags are the Division Pack Backpack, the Lug Knapsack, and the Especial Tres (with backpack straps).  Questions & Tips

Q: Can I put my Timbuk2 bag in the washing machine?

Can you wash your bag in the washing machine? No, and here's why; Some of the fabric has a waterproofing coating on the inside that may dissolve in the washer. Some bag's colors might bleed or run. It will void the warranty. NEVER put your bag in the dryer. Never ever.

Instead we recommend spot cleaning your bag;

- Take a damp towel or sponge with a mild detergent and wipe clean.

- For greasier, more stubborn stains - try plain dish soap or a gentle cleaner like Simple Green.

Q: My bag is broken or damaged. What should I do?

While Timbuk2 bags are nearly indestructible, strange things do happen. Lucky for you, all the information you need is in our warranty tab. If they can't repair your goods, they will replace it! Now THAT'S a warranty- Learn more about Timbuk2's warranty in the warranty tab!
