The James Brand Knives & Tools: High Quality Stainless, Damascus Steel, & Titanium Knives

Built for everyday carry, the James brand designs and expertly crafts knives and tools for the committed adventurer. James began in 2012 in Portland, Oregon founded by a group of designers and adventurers who were looking for something better. Based on the adage that if you cant find what you want, you might have to make it yourself, they decided to put pen to paper and design something new: products made with premium materials, a minimalist design aesthetic, and clear attention to the details. The James brand makes knives and tools that are a better reflection of the values and lives of today's explorers. Modern, minimal everyday carry is what the James brand is all about.

James believes that less is more; They are a design-led brand that is always focused on solving real problems for their customers. Their minimalist approach has allowed them to focus in on what really matters: creating the absolute best knives and tools possible. A James knife is a companion for many years to come, built to last through daily hard use. They are the ones you want to carry in your pocket day in and day out to be their for you whenever you need them. Some of The James Brands beloved classics include the Carter Knife, the Ellis Knife, and the Elko Knife. If you want a knife or tool that you can truly rely on for everyday carry, look no further than James.

The James Brand

Based on the adage that if you cant find what you want, you might have to make it yourself, we decided to put pen to paper and design something new: tools made with premium materials, a minimalist design aesthetic, and clear attention to the details. We make knives and tools that are a better reflection of our values and lives.

 Questions & Tips

Q: Do I need to Lubricate my knife?

Yes. There are a lot of different kinds of lubricant out there, and you can choose the one the works best for you. We recommend something light and low grit, applied periodically to keep your knife's moving parts operating smoothly.

Q: Are their knives lubricated?

If you get your knife wet, take a towel to it. All metals will corrode when wet for extended periods of time. Keep the grit and dirt out of your knife, especially out of the primary pivot area. If it moves, it needs to be clean, dry, and lubricated.
