Leki: Lightweight Trekking, Hiking, and Walking Poles

Combining safety and comfort with attractive design, Leki is a world leader in trekking and skiing poles. Founder Karl Lenhart was originally the owner of a wood processing plant which specialized in creating wooden lettering. Lenhart, an avid skier himself, was less than impressed by the quality and functionality of the ski poles of the time, and so he used his own machine park to manufacture grips and baskets for custom skiing poles. Later, he also began creating lightweight aluminum skiing poles and hiking poles. Soon Lenhart had a bustling pole business going which was officially branded as Leki in 1970.

Today Leki is an industry leader in hiking and skiing poles, and is the go-to brand for elite athletes and casual enthusiasts alike. Leki poles are lightweight, sturdy, and expertly made using advanced modern materials, like carbon fiber. Most of their poles, like the Micro Trail Pro, are built to be extremely packable and fold into a tight bundle. Leki poles are optimized down to the smallest details, such as alignment, swing action, grip, and more. Leki poles delivery maximum support and maximum comfort every time, and are durable enough to last a long time.

When it comes to hiking or ski poles, Leki truly makes some of the best. At OutlandUSA.com we love Leki for their solid build and amazing designs. Give Leki a try.

 Questions & Tips

Q: How can I stow my poles correctly when damp/wet?

If the pole is collapsible, pull or extended the individual pole sections apart and let them dry.

Q: Which parts of the poles can be replaced?

LEKI products allow the replacement of any add-on and wearing parts (grips, straps, baskets, tips). However, only baskets provided with built-in threads should be directly replaced by customers. Please contact us for help obtaining Leki replacement parts.
