Arbor

Mindfully Crafted Since 1995

Arbor Collective: Skateboard and Accessories

Throughout its 25 year history, Arbor has never lost its commitment to sustainability and craftsmanship, or its never-ending pursuit of snowboarding, skateboarding, and the good times that happen along the way. Arbor was founded in 1995 as a snowboard brand by Bob Carlson, who realized the fundamental importance of sustainability to the sport and set out to create a board which reflect this importance. Arbor pioneered the use of bamboo, bio-plastic, and other recycled, reclaimed, and renewable alternatives in their snowboards and skateboards. For over two decades they've turned rider-oriented design into the highest quality, hand-crafted products possible, while drastically minimizing their impact on the planet.

Arbor skateboards are truly legendary. Not only are they built sustainably, theyre imbued with unrivaled style, craftsmanship, and design that can be seen in every handmade detail. Owning an Arbor skateboard is like owning a piece of art, art you can ride and enjoy for years. Arbor skateboards and longboards ride smoothly, turn sharply, and last through hard use. Some of our most popular boards are the Arbor Groundswell Sizzler skateboard or the Arbor Flagship Axis longboard. If you love skateboarding or longbaording and want to support a company truly dedicated to sustainability, look no farther than Arbor.

At OutlandUSA.com, we love Arbor skateboards and longboards, especially for their environmental message. Not only are their board built sustainably, since the beginning Arbor has been supporting environmental charities with a portion on their profits. Give Arbor a try.

 Questions & Tips

Q: Which Arbor boards are best for begginners?

Arbor recommends Sizzler boards and Axis boards for beginners. Both boards offer longer wheelbases and wider deck widths, which can give more stability and make it easier to find your balance for the first time. It is also important to choose a board that is the right fit for your size and the type of riding you want to do.

Q: What does Arbor do for the environment?

Arbor is truly committed to sustainable production. They only use highly renewable wood sources certified by the Forest Stewardship Council, use modern stretching techniques to reduce materials needed, incorporate sustainably grown bamboo material and reclaimed wood, and source other materials like glass grit from recycled sources. They also donate a portion of every sale to forest focused charities and nonprofits.
