Virtually indestructible power-regulated light emitting diode (LED) puts out a smooth, brilliant, pre-focused, tactical-level beam with five times the light of a big two-D-cell flashlight—bright enough to temporarily blind and disorient a person by impairing his night-adapted vision. Compared to our L2 and L4 (also 100-lumen LED flashlights), the L5's larger and heavier head/ reflector produces a tighter beam with increased reach. Patented, ergonomic rubber grip ring allows the light to be operated with a handgun, using the SureFire technique.
