When Filson set out to develop the new Passage Luggage line, they knew that they had high standards to live up to. After all, their Rugged Twill Luggage has set the bar for toughness. This and the unique Bridle Leather straps and handles, as well as their brass fittings, have created a long lasting luggage line that lives up to their motto of “Might As Well Have The Best.” They started out by developing and testing a unique 16.4 oz Nylon Twill fabric that proved to be extremely abrasion resistant, more so than any other luggage fabric that they were able to test. The fabric is then triple coated to create a waterproof finish that will hold up to the abrasion and stress that hard travel generates.

They have used the same grade leather for handles and trim, as well as the same high quality snaps, D-rings, and clips as their Twill Luggage, but with an antique nickel finish. They designed their duffles, travel luggage, field bags, and business cases based on years of traveling with many features unique to this line of luggage. All bags are lined with rip-stop nylon in Otter Green and features padded computer sleeves as well as business organizers where appropriate. All bags are available in free colors; Black, Otter Green, and Brown. And, of course, all bags come with the Filson lifetime warranty.
