The naturally water-repellent Waterfowl Sweater is specifically designed for hunting in cold, wet conditions. It features a padded shooting patch, water-repellent/wind-resistant Shelter Cloth shoulder covering that helps protect against wear from carrying straps, and a standup collar and button front to regulate tempurature.
Features
100% Merino virgin wool retains body heat, even when wet, without becoming damp or clammy
Merino wool is known for its extra-long, extra-fine fibers that spin into a strong, yet very soft yarn
4 ply by 4 ply yarns make this our heaviest sweater wool
Tightly knit, worsted yarns give this sweater a smooth, very durable finish
Wool is quiet in the field
Oil Finish Shelter Cloth over shoulders and upper back
Offers maximum water repellency, whether worn as an outer layer, or underneath a coat
Offers greater durability and abrasion resistance from shoulder straps and rifle slings
Shooting pad on right shoulder
4-button "Henley" style neck makes it easier to pull the sweater over your head, and for ventilation
Ribbed cuffs and waistband ensure a snug fit at your wrists and waist
